Gareth joined Sperry in 2019. He has been working in the US infrastructure market since 2005 and has provided infrastructure advisory services to both public and private sector clients during that time, focused mainly on public sector client alternative project delivery analysis and procurement support. He has experience in financial analysis, financial modeling, financial structuring, as well as a deep understanding of the tools and mechanisms for evaluating project delivery methods, including project screening assessments, value for money analysis, risk analysis and business case development, used by public sector agencies for project delivery selection. In addition, he has experience in procurement support, including providing financial and commercial insights into procurement documentation and procedures, assisting clients through bid evaluation, selection and contracting with private sector entities.
Prior to joining Sperry, Gareth served as a lead Director with KPMG’s infrastructure advisory practice on the West Coast, and has served clients including Caltrans, California High Speed Rail Authority, Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority, Sound Transit, City of Seattle, Orange County Transportation Authority, Riverside County Transportation Commission, Texas Department of Transportation, the State of Michigan, Virginia Department of Transportation and Florida Department of Transportation, among others.
